Why does the beauty in nature have such a feeling and restorative ability to bring back our joy and heal our body and mind? Because we are the living arts of creation itself.

Every harmonic frequency, every fragrance, and every color brings out the art of our very existence.

We are the radiating vibrance and the very essence of art itself. As we begin to touch our deepest consciousness and use the vibrant emotions that we possess, we can create this beautiful piece of art that is us.

The artist is connected to the world and feels the beauty as a living organism, waiting to be expressed. We remember the artist Michelangelo, and he stated that he would stand before a slab of marble until it revealed itself. We are the artist, and we are also the waiting marble, ready to connect and create a masterpiece called you.

We came into this world pure and innocent. We arrived anxiously, awaiting the artist that lies within us to dip into the paint and begin our masterpiece. We are producers of the beauty we see. Impressed by the color, texture, and shape, we reach into our inner being and watch as the interdimensional facets of our beauty come to the surface.

Like a rare gem, we have many facets. Each facet is like a prism that creates colors, colors that can be expressed in our emotions. Colors that start at our root chakra bring fire and action. Our orange sacral chakra is where creativity and reproduction lie. Yellow represents our solar plexus, which holds our Chi and vital energy, our personal power and conviction. The heart emits green, holding within it love, compassion, and empathy. The third chakra is a clear blue, representing our communication and clarity, allowing us to listen with understanding. The third eye, indigo, reveals our intuition, perception, and seeing beyond. Our crown, the crystal, gives us access to the divine, to our spirituality, and to our expression of consciousness.

We are color, and we respond when we see color in the world around us. Through art, we express our divinity, our awareness of consciousness, and our creativity in creating unconditional love. Because we are color and the perfect art form, we see our passion and bring our consciousness to life in the outer form that is described as art.

A great artist, Paul Chate, whose sculptures are in the White House, shared with me once that most artists create their greatest works during what is called the blue period, a time of hardship, frustration, and depression. From this, they emerge to reach their greatest thoughts and create many masterpieces.

As we embrace the artist within and trust that the colors we reach for and bring to the surface are the true expression of our connection to our soul and consciousness, we illuminate the world around us. Even our aura changes from minute to minute. As we relate to what we perceive, we are constantly a kaleidoscope of vivid, beautiful color.

Every Tuesday evening, I host a heart-centered meditation at my center in Mesa, Arizona, which I call the Open-Heart Meditation. During this session, I guide the group into the depths of our heart’s center, filling it with joy as we allow it to expand and vibrate faster and faster. Through this practice, we embrace our true essence as beings of light.
