The Seventh Insight - Awakening Cosmic Connection by Care’n Mooney

This process of self-evolution through the insights has given us a way to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The synchronicity of becoming aware that we are guided allows us to move more easily into our unknown. As we discover ourselves, our spirituality can awaken and evolve.

This quote is from the book itself:

The process of finding our true spiritual identity involves looking into our whole life as one long story. Trying to find a higher meaning begins by asking ourselves: Why did I choose this family? What is the purpose of this? And what is my purpose?

The lessons we learned from dealing with the dynamics of our parents basically put us on a path to our own self-discovery. We have choices: we can stay in the drama and trauma or allow our own personal evolution to emerge.

Again, a quote from the book:

We are not merely the physical creation of our parents; we are also the spiritual creation. You were born to these two people, and their lives had an irrevocable effect on who you are. To discover your real self, you must admit that the real you began in a position between their truths. That is why you were born there, to take a higher perspective of what they stood for and create your own path. Your path is about discovering the truth that is a higher synthesis of what these two people believed.

As we allow ourselves to embrace our new discoveries, we find our connection to our own authentic truth, and it opens pathways to our cosmic connection. This is where the keys to our intuition lie. We've all had hunches, a sort of “don’t do that” or “do this”, and we may have followed one of these hunches. If we were lucky, our hunch may have led us to something good, or to “Oh darn, I wish I had listened to my gut.”

Intuition is far more than just a lucky guess. When we truly know how to fill ourselves with energy, our whole being becomes alive. And when we follow with synchronicity, we are awake on all levels. It is as if we are seeing something for the first time. Our awareness is heightened, and we become fully alert. We are filled with anticipation and excitement, as if something amazing is going to happen.

We can have a brilliant clarity that engulfs our whole body and becomes like a tuning fork, giving us laser focus. Or you may find your center very still and quiet, and get inspired to look up, or maybe pick up a pen and paper and begin to write. Words and thoughts form effortlessly. And occasionally, your gut starts screaming at you to stop, listen, pay attention.

You begin to know when it’s your higher connection that is guiding you. You begin to trust and interpret what it means.

We are all made to connect to our divine guidance. As children, we always used it, and then we were carefully taught that it wasn’t real, that we needed to use our brain, not our gut.

As we embrace this incredible life that we chose for ourselves, we begin to use the gifts of synchronicity, intuition, and inspiration, and continually develop our connection with Source, the Oneness, the Field, our Divinity.
